Appel à candidature / Festival International du film sur l'argile et le verre, au Corum, à Montpellier, France.

La 7ème édition du Festival international du film sur l’argile et le verre aura lieu les 19, 20 et 21 mars 2010, au Corum, à Montpellier.

Organisé par Ateliers d’Art de France depuis 1998, cet événement biennal est un lieu d’échange privilégié entre amateurs et professionnels de l’audiovisuel et des métiers d’art venus du monde entier. A chaque édition une quarantaine de films du monde entier sont sélectionnés, abordant les matériaux argile et verre par le biais de thématiques variées : portraits d’artistes ou d’artisans, techniques, traditions, performances artistiques, histoire de l’art, ethnologie, patrimoine, architecture…

L’inscription à la présélection est désormais ouverte
Les matériaux Argile et Verre peuvent être abordés sous forme de documentaires, chroniques, reportages, animations, fictions, films expérimentaux.
Pour être inclus dans la compétition, les films devront avoir été réalisés après 2002, les autres pourront être projetés dans la section hors compétition.
La compétition est ouverte aux réalisateurs professionnels et amateurs.

Pour soumettre un film à la présélection, téléchargez le bulletin d’inscription sur le site du festival www.fifav.fr, et retournez-le dûment rempli à l’adresse suivante, accompagné d’une copie DVD ou VHS de votre film, avant le 15 septembre 2009. Pour une meilleure organisation du visionnage, merci d’envoyer votre film au plus vite.

The 7th International film festival on clay and glass will be held on the 19th, 20th & 21st of March 2010, in the Corum, Montpellier, France

Organised by Ateliers d’Art de France, this biennial event is a forum for discussion and exchange among professionals and amateurs from around the world.
In all the films, clay or glass is depicted through a broad spectrum of subjects ranging from portraits of creators and studio visits, techniques, art performances to archaeology, ethnology, the history of civilisations, history of art, heritage and architecture. Roughly 40 films are selected from around the world.

The preselection for the 2010 festival has started
The films must be devoted to clay in general, ceramic art and glass. Subjects can be expressed in documentaries, animated films, fictions, experimental films.
To be presented “For Competition”, films must have been produced after 2002, any others shall be presented “Out of Competition” in the programme.
Competition is open to professionals and amateurs.

To submit a film, please fill in the entry form on the website of the festival www.fifav.fr and send it in asap with a DVD or VHS tape of your film. Kindly note that the deadline for all entries is September 15th 2009.
